We hope you have been well and reflecting on the discussions and friendships started in Kazakhstan last month. It is always inspiring to be among so many young ambitious minds like you, having life-changing experiences.

Livestreams, Q+A and free coaching
If you didn’t make one of the 3 live streams for reflection, a photographic slideshow and Q+A, we enjoyed making our friends tear up and apologise that you missed them!
–
You had many questions regarding careers and the process of creating a photograph. Julian is offering a free group mentoring session at a future date – if you would like to take one of the limited spots, ensure you have submitted a response here by Tuesday 1 October (in particular, to the penultimate question). We will also aim to write up the questions received and answers given in the 3 previous live streams, in an FAQ.

HPAIR photographic process
We now hold lasting memories and global friendships thanks to Harvard and Nazerbayev Universities.
–
The goal of our photographic work was to document the connections you created, teams you worked diligently in and unforgettable experiences spent together (like the tug-of-war and dancing at International Night). Many of you have enjoyed some images on the live stream, and we’re delighted.
–
Over 10,000 frames were shot to capture the week, but thousands of raw images – like an uncut, unedited movie – would not be a digestible, finished product with much impact on you. We carefully chose 106 images for a summary slideshow (shown in the livestream), another 333 images for a further gallery, then edited them individually to get the best out of each.
–
How did we do this and how can you get great photos yourself? Here’s your photo editing guide.

Souvenirs for you–
A large photography project with such work involved can cost thousands of dollars. Yet we’d like you to be able to keep these as a memento of the human connections you made, to complement the Kazakh souvenirs and HPAIR t-shirt you may have purchased in Nur Sultan. With Zeel Patel (I-Night MC) reminding us that “the work we do should be sustainable in the long-term,” we’re grateful for your support to make it so. Indian delegate Tanishq described, “it’s a small investment to make, to cherish these memories forever.”
—
Aware of your status as young professionals and students, we want to keep the rates low, and have set them so the memories you want most should come to around 1 or 2 commemorative t-shirts:
